Teaching Philosophy

My Philosophy of Teaching is very interactive and pursing the interest of the students. I believe that the students should want to learn and not see school as a bore waste of time. I incorporate lots of multimedia in my lesson plans to help the students have more interactive learning. Types of multimedia that I use is educational video games, short story movies, PowerPoint and websites that have interactive games and information. I deeply believe that students who succeed in the classroom enjoy coming to school so why not create an environment where the students want to learn.

Summary: The world of science has never been so accessible to young readers! Science Kids books offer a learning experience that kids, parents, and teachers are sure to love. The lively and engaging text explains the basic principles of favorite science subjects. Illustrations and stunning photography zoom in on interesting details, and fun projects encourage further learning. Take a journey to the coldest places on Earth. Discover the plants and animals that have adapted to survive in frigid climates, and learn about exploration, research, and protecting this remarkable environment.
Personal Comments: This book was amazing because the pictures and projects in the book really made the polar climate and animals come to life. The different type of birds, fish, polar bears and many other animals are shown as these gentle creatures which are beautiful and unique. The prevention of harming their climate is a huge concern with pollution, poachers and over fishing and hunting. We as a human race need to preserve these animals and their climate in which they live in because today’s animals might not be here tomorrow.
Suggested Use in the Classroom: This book is an excellent way to introduce the topic in protecting our ozone layer, and environment by recycling and taking care of our Planet. This book will show that the animals of the polar world depend on the students to protect them and the projects in the book will help them interact and engage with this idea. In the Class room I will show them videos of the Polar world and ways in which it is being destroyed by us human beings. This engagement will let the young students know that our environment is our responsibility and we have to do something about it.
